Ask for an impossible animal and you get a griffin. A lion with wings, an eagle’s head on a horse, a cat with butterfly wings — parts of real animals stapled together, which is why they read as collage rather than as zoology.
A real field-guide plate is convincing for a reason that has nothing to do with draughtsmanship: everything on the page agrees with everything else. The teeth match the gut, the gut matches the food, the limbs match the weight, the covering matches the coldest night of the year. So this app takes the animal apart into eight axes and then checks the combination — twenty-one rules over real allometry, run in your browser before anything is sent anywhere.
Name an eagle and a horse and it will not draw you a griffin. It will tell you that a powered flier of 320 kg is about twenty times the heaviest animal that has ever flapped, and offer you the three ways out.

Start from real animals
Name two or three. The first is the body; the rest donate what they are most known for. Nothing is repaired here on purpose — the point is to see what the combination actually implies.
The animal
The seed is the whole animal. The same seed with the same locks always gives the same plate, so one worth keeping can be written down and reopened. Lock an axis to hold it while the rest rerolls — and note that locking two axes that contradict each other is allowed: the contradiction survives and the plate says so.
Coherence
Twenty-one rules, each a real constraint on real animals, each naming the animal that sets the bound. Everything here is computed in your browser and costs nothing.

Optional, and a control rather than a caption. Describe the animal in your own words — a habitat, a size, a diet, a gait — and the axes it clearly settles are offered as changes you can apply.
What you type is never sent to the renderer. The plate brief is composed entirely from this app’s own vocabulary: the eight axes above, their fixed phrasings, and the anatomy the coherence engine derives from them. Your words steer which options get chosen; they are not rendered, and the app refuses to send a brief that does not recompile exactly from the axes and the seed alone.

This is the entire instruction that goes to the renderer, character for character. Nothing else is sent and nothing is added on the way.
